Team Leader
Job Summary
Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection and substantial modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Location
- Dallas Office (2 Team Leader openings)
- Houston Office (1-2 Team Leader openings)
Essential Functions
- Interprets and collaborates conceptual designs with the Project Manager and then drives the project through completion
- Develops, organizes, and reviews building plans
- Represents design ideas in 3D
- Teaches, coordinates with, and mentors architectural interns
- Involved in a project from start to finish
- Involved in consulting with engineers, contractors, and construction personnel
- Receives technical guidance from Project Manager
- Supervises, coordinates, and reviews work of a team of Interns for a project

Required Education
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in architecture (post graduation)
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or degree equivalent education and experience
- Work history meets all requirements for registration
- Pursuit of documentation and testing for professional licensing, if not currently held
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities mainly concerning overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Hours Expected
This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are
somewhat flexible, and some late evenings may be required.
Travel (if any)
There is no anticipated overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may be required.
